Description

Chicken Parmigiana is an Italian dish made with breaded fried Chicken Breast with Tomato sauce and Parmesan Cheese.

Go for a medium bodied wine that is more acidic than the tomato sauce and low in tannins to match the white meat.

The red wines above are easy to drink, have lots of fruit aromas like sour cherry and soft tannins.

If the dish is served with buttered pasta go for a creamy Chardonnay, while a Sauvignon Blanc matches fresh oregano, basil and the vegetables.

Bubbles are super acidic and because of that, super food friendly, especially with breaded and fried dishes.

A tannic bold wine like a big Cab would be too dominant. Avoid it.
