Soave (Italy)

Soave is one of the most famous Italian white wines.

It is produced around the town of Soave in the Veneto region of Italy.

The main grape is Garganega.

Types of Soave

Soave Classico contains at least 70% Garganega grapes blended with Trebbiano and sometimes Chardonnay.

It is produced with different styles: from light-medium bodied (similar to Pinot Grigio), to full bodied (called Superiore and similar to Chardonnay).

Malolactic Fermentation provides a more creamy Soave.
