About Tai Rosso

Tai Rosso is exclusive to Vicenza in Veneto, where the wine region Colli Berici has cultivated the grape for centuries.

Colli Berici is an Italian DOC region covering a wide range of wine styles including Red, White, Sparling, and Rosé.

The genetic nature of Tai Rosso is the same as French Grenache, Spanish Garnacha, and Sardinian Cannonau, but in Vicenza it has a specific generic identity.

The grape was known as Tocai Rosso until 2007, when Hungary claimed the Tocai name, and Tocai Rosso converted to Tai Rosso.

About Barbarano

Tai Rosso is also known as Barbarano, the name of a town in the wine producing area of Colli Berici.

According to a legend, a carpenter of Barbarano, working for the Empress Maria Theresa of Austria, brought Tocai Rosso to Barbarano after a mission in Hungary.

The Ideal Glass

The Burgundy glass is perfect for a light and fruity red wine.

The glass is broader than other red wine glasses.

The larger bowl has the function of accumulating the aromas of delicate red wines. It also allows a proper swirling, channeling the aromas upwards.

In addition, the style of the glass directs the wine to the tip of your tongue for a better reception of the tastes.

Veneto

Veneto is famous for its capital Venezia, and the wines Prosecco, Soave, and Amarone.

Alcohol can be addictive. Drink in moderation.
